Amazing food and service. The owners are kind, hardworking and really care about their customers. This has become a weekly stop for us. Wish I could take the food home to eat everyday! It's that good!

A cute mom and pop type setting. The food is delicious and the owners are very kind. Ordering online was a breeze and the food was ready as stated on the order confirmation. 5 stars all day long, would highly recommend!

Beautiful nice people here the food is amazingly yummy and fresh and delicious!! I’ve been looking for green Chile that hits the spot and this restaurant is the place to go I had my birthday breakfast here and I am extremely satisfied even my picky kids loved the breakfast believe me they are hard to please but they ate up every bit of the food!! *****

Best cafe I've ever been to. Started going here to pick up breakfast burritos before work and now have gained a friend in Favi. Definitely love the home feeling you get at Home cafe. In addition to the amazing hospitality the food is great too. Best breakfast burritos, and for lunch I get the pregnant burrito. Can't go wrong at Home Cafe!

*****

Good home style food served by friendly staff. Pricing was moderate. It's a small cozy well kept restaurant that you might miss if you aren't looking for the place. I've been here a few times and enjoyed it each time. Strong 4 star rating from me. If you like the smaller diners this could be a regular stop for you.

*****

We had a great experience here. Staff was very friendly, food was good. I loved the colorful, fun way it's decorated.

Always great food! Favi always makes you feel welcomed!

*****

Great breakfast, quick, friendly & fresh. Great decor authentic to match the cuisine. Had the Ernesto skillet one warning the green chili was on fire, a bit too spicy for me but I'm sure others would love it! Get to this off the beaten path place rapido!

*****

Stopped here on a whim because we were nearby and it was amazing!! Best Chile relleno and green Chile. Cute little restaurant, give it a try for sure!

*****

Awesome place with a great authentic greasy spoon atmosphere. The food is good and affordable, and the staff is very likeable. Definitely recommended.

A great little diner! I had the avocado omelette. Nice green chili, just a touch of heat. Friendly server.

*****

What an incredible find! I have lived in Littleton for 15 years and never knew that, just up the street, was a little gem called Home Cafe. This small, friendly, colorful, unassuming, diner has been here, in fact, since the 1950's. The current owners have had it for over 20 years.

Favi and G are just amazing. A friend and I came for the first time on Sunday. When I came back today, Favi asked if my friend would be joining me and remembered my whole order. You just don't find places like this anymore. I would almost come back just for the service but the good is good too!

I almost hate to share this because I love that it is not crowded but it is just too nice to keep all to my self. Come for the small town feeling, and just keep coming back.

*****

Wonderful place to eat breakfast. I had the carnivore skillet and everything was tasty. Establishment itself is homey, and maybe easily missed from the road. Nice staff. Always on top of coffee. Breakfast burritos are big and skillets hot. Worth it.

*****

Extremely, great place, awesome service.
Pleasant environment and plenty of food.

*****

You immediately feel like this is home when you walk in the door!! You are greeted by nicest people you'll ever meet!! I thoroughly enjoyed the most delicious veggie omelette..stock piled with veggies and delicious homemade green chilli! Cant wait to return and try other items on the menu!!!

*****

I knew as soon as I walked through the threshold of this place there was going to be something special waiting to take place.
The food was phenomenal. Customer service A+++
I can't wait to have my next soul healing piece of The House Cafe'

Best food I've had since moving near by

*****

Great little ma and pa diner. Lots of choices and the owners are great!

*****

This breakfast & lunch cafe opened in 1955 and is located off of Hampden.
Menu item: Breakfast Burrito with bacon
The chili is a classic green chili of Colorado, rich with flavor.
The burrito is full with a two egg scramble with home fries and bacon.
The bao is a clean, whimsical, single bathroom in the basement.
Pro tip: Bad knees won't make it down the steps to the bathroom.
Follow @onclouldchili for cherry finds of great chili, burritos and baos.

*****

Cozy and clean. Friendly service. Had the breakfast sandwich it was ok. The boyfriend had a mexi breakfast and loved it. I would like to try it for lunch next time I go.

*****

Great new spot for my wife and I! Simple and perfect! Will be returning for sure!

*****

Great place and great food! Very cute and clean. Husband and wife owners. He cooks great and she makes you feel at home. They serve breakfast and lunch, with more than enough choices. I had biscuits and gravy and a Belgium waffle. Both delicious. My friends has an avacado breakfast burrito and chile rellenos. Both were delicious. Lots of flavor and fresh. We will definitely be going back soon.

*****

Just tried this place. Love it my kids sat at the counter and the waitress was super nice.

*****

My favorite little breakfast place! Go here for real home cooking with an fun and unique atmosphere.....nothing fancy, just great food and fun people....

*****

Cute, cozy place to have a delicious breakfast. Favi and her husband make you feel right at home. The food is excellent. My boyfriend's kids request this place for breakfast every weekend now. I enjoy finding a good hole in the wall place with local flavor. This is the place! Highly recommended! Great service and great food!

*****

Super good cute little place! The waitress was awesome and got all our needs met in a timely manner and the chilaquiles were bomb! Beans were okay:)

*****

Great food and atmosphere. Very generous portions. Small and cozy. We had two different skillets and both were hot and delicious.

*****

We love it here. The place is super cute and according to my husband the tamales are delicious. My daughter is a biscuits and gravy connoisseur, and she gives these two thumbs up.

*****

This is my kind of place! Unique, fun, but quiet atmosphere. The food was awesome and fairly priced. I'd much rather go here than some chain breakfast / brunch place.

*****

THE BEST AS USUAL! The food here is consistently outstanding! The service equally as good :-) if I could give more than five stars I would!!! The food is consistent the quality is Supreme. I drive 30 miles to eat lunch there just because it is authentic Mexican food it is not overpriced.

*****

My wife suggested we try this little cafe, and we have been going every Sunday since. The food is fantastic, and the sausage is even better. A husband and wife team run this well oiled machine, and we are customers for life!!!

*****

Breakfast is one of those meals that's easy to mess up because if it's simplicity. At Home Cafe though, this is nothing you need to trouble yourself with. They execute breakfast with a masterful hand that is most welcome in an early morning visit. The decor is what you want in a hole in the wall like this. Character everywhere, but nothing commercial in sight. Two weekends in a row now, and I can't wait to go back. Would highly recommend a visit to anyone.

*****

A really nice hole in the wall. A diamond in the rough. Why would you ever go to an ihop or Denny's when you can go to a cozy family friendly breakfast diner that makes you feel right at home.

*****

A true hidden gem! We were in town for 3 days and ate here all 3 days! I cant say enough about how wonderful this place is! The food is absolutely fantastic and is topped only by the sweet and wonderful owners. This is home away from home! The atmosphere is cute, cozy, and welcoming. We were greeted like family every morning and immediately served fresh, hot coffee. There is no better way to start the day. The breakfast options are anything you could possibly want. I personally loved the veggie skillet. Flavorful and filling. The owners are the sweetest people ever! In the short time we spent in town I know we are leaving with true friends! They really care about their restaurant, the quality of their food, and their customers. Each morning we couldn't wait to see their smiling faces and tell them about our previous day. We saw that many locals also spend many mornings having breakfast here. It's one of those places that once you go, you'll want to come back. And come back we shall! Next time we are in town we will stop in for lunch. They gave us a sample of the tamale and chicken enchilada and O.M.G, easily the best I've ever had! I wish I could give them 10 stars!

*****

Home Cafe was recommended to me by some friendly fellow travelers. I stopped in for breakfast after watching the sunrise at the Red Rocks. I am so glad I did!!!. This place is sunshine on a plate! The biscuits and gravy are perfection! Bacon done just right and my coffee was always full.
Flavi is so kind and welcoming ... One of those people who lights up your whole day.
My belly and heart are full!
Don't go anywhere else.

*****

It'd be great if you had a menu on your website so I know if I can adapt your offerings to my diet before I go.

*****

Very good mate! Small and homey feel with a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items. I got the grilled cheese and my man got their yummy Chile burger. Both ate everything without a complaint. The prices were easy on the wallet.

*****

Love this place! They are family owned and yummy and friendly. We love that they play Christian music too!

*****

Just had the rellenos and eggs, amazing. I think they have some of the best green chili in Denver.

*****

This was such a cute little diner. The food was awesome and the service was great. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

*****

Homemade food, great atmosphere and great food. One of those hidden gems that I want to do very well but I don’t want it to get too popular. Had to give them some love. ??

*****

I've eaten here for years. The food stayed great when it was bought so I will continue to eat here. Best classic double bacon cheeseburger in Denver Metro.

*****

The food was so good and our service was great. The prices were perfect for our family.
We do not live near the area - but we will definitely be back! Very impressed!

*****

Wonderful place! We eat breakfast here about once a week. The decorations are fun and original and the food is always good. Support this local small business!

*****

Been looking for a local "diner" for years! This passes the breakfast test. Crisp delicious bacon, perfectly prepared eggs, simple tasty potatoes. Looking forward to trying lunch and see how the fries taste!

*****

The food is really good. I got the country sausage breakfast, very tasty. The owners are super people too! Give it a try.

*****

This is a gem! Small place but the food is great. One of my favorite places for breakfast.

*****

Good burgers.
Always people there, that's a good sign.

*****

So cute. The owner was our server. Very nice.
Really good food.

*****

A lil place that makes feel at home. Service was wonderful! Fresh HOT coffee smoked porkchop and eggs was delicious!

*****

Super small family owned gem. Daily specials and the owners know all of there many regulars. It's in an area that may turn off some people , but, I guess we're family now so, we'll see you there on our next trip

*****

Honestly one of the best breakfast places I’ve been to. The decoration is very welcoming. The owners are very intimate and comforting that I felt right at home. Definitely will be coming back.

*****

Home fries, real home fries. Homey, cozy, Mom & Pop place dishing up honest eats.

*****

Cute place. Very friendly, nice staff. Choice of 3 different sausages for breakfast which was a nice change of pace.

*****

This place is easy to get to. They serve great food with a gracious smile. And the owners will treat you like family. I like to enjoy breakfast with them whenever possible.

*****

The first place I think of when taking friends and family out for breakfast or lunch. The food is fantastic! I've never seen bigger and fluffier pancakes, the sausage melts in your mouth, the cheesecake is heavenly, and the vegetable tamales are what legends are made of. I especially enjoy visiting with the owners while we eat our meal. In fact, the new owners are so proud of their restaurant that they gave me a tour of the kitchen - - spotless!

*****

Good breakfast. 3 choices on the kind is sausage! Country, German or Italian sausage which is a nice change of pace. Nicest waitress and cook I've ever met. Super cheerful and sweet.

Home Cafe says everything you ever need to know. Your Southern Granny couldnt possibly do better. Your small town diner in the city! WHO KnEW! This is my first time to be here and it will not be my last. I actually had a cup of white bean and ham soup. HOMEMADE! It was great! Domonique was our waitress. She had to come over and ask our names and shake our hands, because she knew everyone else by name. She wanted to make us feel right at home. Dont let the area fool you and be prepared for a home cooked meal like you havent had since dad took you to the sale barn and you stopped for breakfast! They make their own sausage there. I have yet to try it, but those of you who like homemade sausge... if it is anything like the rest of the food... This is a must try. What a special treat this was. I am so very excited to go back. I want to try their pies too! You can afford this. The prices are incredibly reasonable. We had soup, and full breakfast meals with eggs, bacon and OMG TO DIE FOR HASHBROWnS. My friend even had the biggest pork chop I have ever seen served in a restaurant. UnDER $20! Go! Just go. You wont be sorry.

*****

I adore this place. Now, if you are looking for a trendy or hip breakfast experience - this is not it. If you want good food, big portions and for cheap then go here. The place is filled with old men sipping on coffee who are clearly regulars. The waitresses are always friendly, prompt and call you honey. The menu is a pretty simple, classic breakfast menu and the food is the same, simple but solidly delicious and for cheap. I had a breakfast burrito that was tasty. My dining companion had biscuits and gravy that was also quite tasty.

*****

The Home Cafe is everything that a breakfast restaurant should be. I've been driving by for a long time, and always thought that I should stop for breakfast sometime. I'm glad I did. With the exception of us first timers, it appears the woman running the front of the house (who was great) seemed to know the name and 'the usual' for every other person who came through the door. There is not a lot of seating, so wouldn't be ideal for a group, but the prices were reasonable, the food good, and the coffee plentiful. What more could a person ask for?

*****

Pleasant little throwback to the past - sign said it opened in 1955 and it's very reminiscent of 50's and 60's Americana including the coffee cups, glasses and dishes and lunch counter with the round stools. Straightforward, "traditional" menu. Very inexpensive. Service was excellent and food was good. We didn't have it but the waitress said they make their own sausage and it's excellent. I will definitely try the homemade country sausage next visit. It's small - won't accommodate big parties, but a very pleasant "funky" little place for breakfast or lunch for 2, 3 or 4.

*****

The absolute BEST! My boyfriend and I have been coming here for years. It's definitely a local spot, and has all the charm of your grandma's kitchen. Rhonda is amazing. She's the reason we keep driving to our old regular breakfast spot from time to time (well, that and Cal's cooking :) ) If you don't try it at least once, you'll be missing out!

*****

Homemade sausage, breakfast is amazing. Quaint little hole in the wall breakfast place!

*****

Such a great pepole over there.
Had a great time, amazing service, great food.
The place was cozy and clean.
Prices very fare, Breakfast between 5$ to around 10$.

*****

Great place! Tucked away on old Hampden Ave. Awesome home style cooking! (Heck, even the toast was perfect). Great service! Idaly is the server, very friendly and sweet.

Sausage is awesome here. Seems homemade. I will definitely be back for breakfast again.

*****

It looks like a hole in the wall in Sheridan Colorado but the food is amazing. Huge pancakes and a large portion of eggs and sausage. All you need are $3 dollar bills to scrape together and you will have a full belly. They also have a bacon special for those of you that like that :)

*****

Tiny place with a small but varied menu of breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers and some dinner entrees. I had a basic burger with chips, tea and a slice of butterscotch pie. Delicious and only $10. Great service and clean place. There appeared to be lots of 'regulars' there as customers and that's a good sign! Definitely a nice, little, unpretentious diner! Check the hours they're open. They probably close around 2 pm. Also, they don't accept credit cards.

Updated my review to comment on my second visit. I had a hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. The soup of the day is also included in the meal price and I had their chicken noodle soup. Best damn soup I've had in a long time! If only I had a slice of buttermilk cornbread to go with it. The meal was piping hot and delicious. Also had the cherry pie. Delicious as well. I suspect there is a owner/operator here that cares about the quality of the food they serve. When I need to move, I'm going to move closer to this place. Great service, fast, friendly, working man place.

*****

What a gem. We were looking for some morning coffee and stumbled upon this place. Don't judge a book by it's cover. However, when visiting a new area we like to find a local joint. This one was exactly what we were looking for. Small with locals the waitress knew by name. Nice menu and a must are the homemade sticky buns. We will be back.

*****

Good experience. Looks like a local place and isn't updated but considered that part of the charm. Sure enough, an elderly gentleman who reminded me of my grandfather joked around with us in the parking lot.
Found seating for 5 at the lunch hour. Service was good and the meals arrived quickly. Everyone said their food was good and the price was extremely affordable.

*****

This has become one of our go-to breakfast spots. You can taste that they add a little something special to classic dishes, to make them stand out. All of the homemade sausages are wonderful. The staff is very friendly. Love this place for a quick weekend breakfast!

*****

I've only had to go here but I love their breakfast burritos. I want to come back and have their other breakfast items but the place is always packed. It's down home atmosphere and zero pretentiousness.

*****

The food here is great. This is one of the last surviving genuine greasy spoons in the metro area. Love the atmosphere and the employees. Takes me back to the good old days. I got an omelette last time I ate there and it was delicious. Definitely recommended.

*****

The new owners are great. I had a breakfast burrito-smothered of course. It was very good and the green chili was excellent. The hash browns are very good too. I would have liked more sausage on the bisquits and gravy. I will be back for sure.

*****

This place has the BIGGEST pancakes I have ever seen. I got one blueberry pancake, 2 eggs, and coffee for under $10. My only gripe is the pancake was undercooked in some areas, but since the pancake was so large it didn't really matter to me.

Everyone here knows everyone making it truly have a small town vibe. One of the regulars, Dennis, spotted me on my way out and introduced himself. We ended up having a pretty long conversation which ended in him saying, "See you next time!" Tell me, what other place have you been to where the CUSTOMER says they'll see you next time!?

*****

I love this place. It's small. I'm small and I still had some difficulty getting out of the booth without bumping someone but otherwise the food is really good. Their sausage is my favorite. They deep fry it and then throw it on the grill so it's perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside. I also enjoyed their French toast. Their pancakes are huge! I'm excited to come back and try more. The only thing I noticed is their selection of drinks. My friend asked for sweet tea and chocolate milk and they didn't have either. The waitress was nice though and offered suggestions instead of just saying they didn't have that.

*****

Tony please that deserved great food. My wife ordered French toast which was beautiful. And my plate was light just the way i wanted. Perfect

*****

We found this delightful cafe after attending a funeral at nearby Fort Logan. It's cozy, the food is great and the owner/waitress is a warm welcoming hostess. Such a great find!!! Highly recommended.
